A HISTORY IN TRADITION
Pâtisserie Royale invites you to come and savour the very best of Middle Eastern baking expertise and tradition. Continuing a practice begun centuries ago, Pâtisserie Royale uses only the finest ingredients to offer the very best in traditional Lebanese and Syrian pastries. Prior to opening Pâtisserie Royale in Scarborough, the owner, Mounzer Jamous managed Pâtisserie Mahrousé in Montreal’s Park Extension, a bakery owned by the great-great-great grandson of Syria’s legendary Mahrousé family. After learning the secret art of making the tastiest pastries possible from the biggest name in Middle Eastern baking, Mounzer brought that knowledge with him to establish Toronto’s pre-eminent Middle Eastern pastry shop in 1997. Only top quality ingredients find their way into Pâtisserie Royale sweet. Using the same tried and true recipes handed down through the generations; each delicate pastry is assembled by hand and is made with real clarified butter, Canadian flour, Californian nuts and Persian pistachios. Attentive service, honesty and the finest quality ingredients are what separate Pâtisserie Royale from everyone else. Taste the difference for yourself!
